The Andersons

We are the Andersons (sans Dad (Jarrett) who’s allergies keep him supporting us from home).  Mom (Sandy), The Guys (Alec 8 and Evan 5) enjoy owning their first horse.  After many years of waiting and wanting, Smokey (a.k.a. Weeds-Pok-A-Son) an 11-year-old registered appaloosa joined our family in August of 2005.  Thanks to a great push from Vicki that said flat out “Yes, this is the horse you should buy.”  We couldn’t have asked for a better fit, he’s a calm soul with great ground manners and an awesome ability teach us all how to ride; from Mom’s jumping lessons to Alec’s first show and Evan’s first solo rides he’s the all around horse for our family.

IWe couldn’t ask for a better place to learn and grow.  Thanks to Vicki and Nikki for all the questions they’ve answered and for all the adult riders out here that show me you don’t have to be a kid to ride, just a kid at heart.  Special thanks to Jarrett who can’t share in our “hobby” but without his support we could never have had this opportunity.
