Horse Show and Clinic

Judge and Clinician – Mary Ann Murphy

How this show/clinic will work is the judge will place the class and then will give you hints on how you could have ridden the class to have you, your horse and for the two of you to place higher.

This is a great chance to get some wonderful advice on your riding.

We will be doing the following divisions.

Division fee: $30.00 for 1 – 5 (Use of school horse $20.00)

1. Walk-trot – there will be 4 classes: 2 Equitation (on you) over poles on ground and flat and 2 Hunter (on horse) over poles on ground and flat.

2. Cross Rails – there will be 4 classes: 2 Equitation and 2 hunter.

3. Beginner Rider – there will be 4 classes: fences will be straight poles @ 1’6.

4. Rider/Horse – there will be 4 classes: fences will be @ 2 ft.

5. Green Horse – there will be 3 over fences and 1 flat @ 2 ft with oxers. This is open to any rider.

Division fee: $40.00 for next 2 divisions

Warm- up for next division.

6. Advance Rider – fences 2’6 to go up as riders would like to 2’9.

4 classes: 2 Equitation and 2 Hunter.

Warm – up for Jumpers

7. Jumper – This will be for the horses 2’6 and up. There will be 4 rounds. Timed first class, 2 – 4 classes timed jump off’s.

Learn the difference between A & B, get a chance to jump some great jumps.

Ribbons awarded in all divisions

After show come join us in a free dinner and visit with Mary Ann and get more advice.
