This course is to teach horse owners and students what you need to know to have your horse, tack and the knowledge to make your horse healthy and happier at home and at shows. This is a 6 week course that will be held on Saturday from 1 – 3 pm. This is a required course if you are going to show this summer as we will be going over everything from grooming, practice riding, products, care of tack, bathing your horse and getting ready for shows (signing up, picking classes, what to do when we get to the shows and what is to be done before anyone can leave the show grounds) and what the riders needs to know for themselves (clothing you need to show, personal care tote and what is needed in it, making motel reservations and much more). New information add then what we did last year, this year will be more “hands on” where you will be doing the activities while we are talking. There will be a added class the weekend we get ready for the first WWHSA show and our show in May. Nikki will be there to help you give baths and get ready.

The first class will be February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, 28, 2009

Cost of the course is $120.00/family.

This is a chance to get some great knowledge that we do not have time to do individually, again this is a required course if you are going to do any shows or want to learn more about how to care for your horse, show and learn more about being the horse owner or rider that your horse wants you to be.

There will be great handouts and this is the chance to ask all those questions you have always wanted to ask.

Bring a 3 ring binder for handouts.
